    Business Experience and Qualifications: Ms. Grace was appointed to our Board and named our President and Chief Executive Officer in November 2022. The Board has concluded that Ms. Grace is qualified to serve on the Board because of her deep and broad experience running large professional and financial services businesses in human capital, healthcare, banking and investment management.  She has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, scaling growth organizations and client-centric growth strategies.  Ms. Grace is an experienced corporate and non-profit director and audit committee financial expert.

    Ms. Grace was formerly the CEO of Global Retirement, Investment and Human Capital at Aon. In addition, she led Aon’s enterprise client management and oversaw the integration of all acquisitions for the company. Her background also includes more than 14 years at Bank of America, where she led several national institutional and consumer businesses.

    Board Experience: Ms. Grace holds both corporate and nonprofit board positions, including State Farm Insurance, the Rush University Medical Center Board of Trustees and the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business Advisory Board.

    Cary Grace is the President and Chief Executive Officer of AMN Healthcare Services, Inc., (AMN). Ms. Grace is a transformational leader with 30 years of experience developing and executing successful growth strategies for leading global financial and professional service organizations. Ms. Grace’s extensive experience in leading large and complex businesses with a focus on services and digital enablement provides valuable insight and leadership as AMN Healthcare continues to evolve as a healthcare workforce solutions partner with technology-enabled solutions for clients and clinicians. 

    Ms. Grace previously served as the CEO of Global Retirement, Investment and Human Capital at Aon – an organization that is a leader in risk management, retirement, health and human capital solutions – during which time she was recognized as one of the Most Powerful Women in Finance by American Banker. She also led Aon’s Global M&A integration, its Enterprise Client Management function as well as its digitally enabled private health exchanges. Prior to Aon, she spent more than 20 years at Bank of America and JPMorgan, where she led several national businesses and functions. Ms. Grace holds both corporate and nonprofit board positions, including State Farm Insurance, League Inc., and the Rush University Medical Center Board of Trustees. She is a member of the Healthcare Leadership Council, and she is a passionate supporter of diversity and inclusion efforts. 

    In recognition of her work at AMN Healthcare, Ms. Grace was recognized in the 2023 edition of D CEO Magazine’s annual Dallas 500 publication and named to Staffing Industry Analyst’s Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing 2023 list.

    Ms. Grace holds a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University, where she was a Baker Scholar, and an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management.
