AMN Healthcare Services Announces Exercise of Option for Additional Shares in Secondary Offering

AMN Healthcare Services, Inc. (NYSE:AHS) today announced that Banc of America Securities LLC and JPMorgan, as representatives of the several underwriters and as the joint book-running managers for the secondary offering of 9,250,000 shares of the company's common stock, have exercised the underwriters' option to purchase an additional 1,381,303 shares of common stock from affiliates of Haas Wheat & Partners, L.P. The offering price of the shares is $13.75 per share and the closing for these additional shares is expected to occur on Friday, May 27, 2005. The shares in the secondary offering, including the shares sold pursuant to the underwriters' option, represent all of the shares owned by the affiliates of Haas Wheat & Partners, L.P.

Neither the company nor management has registered for sale any of their shares of common stock under this offering. Accordingly, the company and management will not receive any proceeds from the public offering.
