AMN Healthcare Appoints R. Jeffrey Harris to Its Board Of Directors
SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 3, 2005--AMN Healthcare Services, Inc. (NYSE:AHS), a leading healthcare staffing company and the largest nationwide provider of travel nurse staffing services, announced today that R. Jeffrey Harris, a director of Playtex Products, Inc. (NYSE:PYX), and Sybron Dental Specialties, Inc. (NYSE:SYD), has joined the company's Board of Directors.

Mr. Harris served as a director of Apogent Technologies Inc. from 2000 through 2004 and from 2000 through 2003 was employed as Of Counsel to Apogent. Prior to becoming a director of Apogent, Mr. Harris served as Vice President--General Counsel and Secretary of Apogent (formerly known as Sybron International Corporation) since 1988. Prior to joining Sybron, Mr. Harris was an associate with the law firm of Baker & Hostetler.
Mr. Harris received a B.S. in Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University, and a J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law. He is a member of the Colorado, Ohio, and Wisconsin Bar Associations, and is on the Board of the Sharon Lynn Wilson Center for the Arts and Tall Pines Conservancy, both non-profit organizations.
Currently, Mr. Harris also serves on the Board of Directors of Prodesse, Inc. and PhysioGenix, Inc., two early stage biotechnology companies located in southeastern Wisconsin.
