AMN Healthcare Services Announces Secondary Offering of Common Stock

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 18, 2005--AMN Healthcare Services, Inc. (NYSE:AHS) today announced a public offering of 2,000,000 shares of common stock pursuant to its currently effective shelf registration statement. All of the 2,000,000 shares are offered by affiliates of Haas Wheat & Partners, L.P., a private equity investment firm whose affiliates have owned shares of the company since 1999. The selling stockholders have granted the underwriter a 21-day option to purchase an additional 300,000 shares.

Neither the company nor management registered any shares of common stock pursuant to the registration statement nor will the company or management receive any proceeds from the sale of the shares by the selling stockholders.
